In the challenging business environment that we see today, increased trade protectionism and financial market disruptions contribute to the likelihood of delinquencies and payment defaults. Our growth strategy is dependent to a large extent on our ability and agility in supporting our customers’ growth and in responding to their needs. Going forward, we see the credit intelligence of the Tinubu Risk team together with the market intelligence of the SBI team, as a winning proposition."

SBI General Insurance Company Limited started its operations as a joint venture between State Bank of India (SBI) and Insurance Australia Group (IAG) in 2014. Pursuant to stake sale by IAG in March 2020, SBI now owns 70%.
Facing a very competitive Indian credit insurance market, SBI General Insurance (SBIG) decided to take a different approach to develop a standalone operation that would showcase the strong SBI brand.
“We, therefore, introduced trade credit insurance into our bouquet of products in 2014 with the support of Tinubu and we manage today a highly profitable credit insurance business.”
We are highly satisfied with the various services provided by Tinubu, whether it was interaction on quotes or risk decisions, on-site training of personnel or claim analysis, all delivered to us in well-defined timelines.”
